Acquiring new skills is a process
Developing new skills is a little like putting a jigsaw puzzle together.
Core skills, intermediate or advanced skills are all those skills we need to ride our bikes safely and in control whether we are riding on the road, trails or mountain bike tracks.
Each skill is broken down into Elements and each Element is practiced.
Elements are practiced together become Skill Blocks.
Elements and Skill Blocks are practiced together.
Skill Blocks when practiced together become acquired Skills.
A skill is like a jigsaw puzzle. Each jigsaw piece is an Element and when they are laid together they create a Block of the puzzle. Blocks of jigsaw pieces put together become the completed jigsaw puzzle.
Skills Elements together become Skills Blocks. Skills Blocks together become Skills!
